Personally – My wife is my biggest inspiration. All the times that I am away from home she holds down the fort and ensures that I can focus on the job.
Professionally – Justin Yohn and Mike Gettinger. They helped me to build a strong foundation and knowledge base to keep workers safe during emergency responses and mentored me in my leadership roles.
Most meaningful professional achievement
Advancing to Chief Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard.
Developing new strategies that have kept numerous people safe responding to emergencies.

Obtain my CIT certification from the BCSP
